Pruducts needed for lightening hair to Platinum Blonde:

Goldwell Oxycur Lightener and 30 Vol. Topchic Developer - Mix one scoop of lightener and 30ml developer. Leave on for 30 minutes up to 45 minutes max. If you're going platinum, you would need to bleach 3 times all together and then apply a purple based toner. This product 'foams' during the developing time, so don't just "paint" it on. Use your hands to work the bleach in. Make sure you apply just enough so it doesn't get dry before the 30-45 minutes, it'll really damage your hair! *DO NOT USE HEAT WITH THESE PRODUCTS!

ALSO make sure to buy the measuring bowl so you can measure out the developer correctly!

Like I said, it will take awhile before your hair is manageable again. Be patient and very gentle with your hair! Don't blow-dry. If you do, make sure you use the setting where it's cool air, not hot. Don't shampoo for the FIRST week- just use conditioner, hot oil, and the reconstructor.

I needed to tone my hair so and thought I'd share it with u all!

I used Wella Color Charm T18 silver lady toner: blue/violet base clairol professional pure white 20 vol. developer 2 parts developer , 1 part T18 mix, consistensy shouldn't be too runny, if so, add a little more toner

NOTE: APPLY TONER TO TOWEL DRIED HAIR, NOT COMPLETLY DRY... APLYING TO COMPLETLY DRY HAIR MAKES IT SUSCEPTIBLE TO BREAKAGE.

Apply from roots to ends you should start where hair is the most yellow. start timing after you've completed applying. rinse, condition and style.

I used to have dark, almost black, hair (mostly virgin). In one night, I went from this to a light blonde color.

I did not like the yellow the lightener left me, so I decided to buy an affordable toner that everyone (for the most part) would be able to pick up and use if they want to achieve the same results. I may lighten the top and sides a bit more in a few weeks to get it all the same color (except the fringe, of course) and tone it again and show you how it goes.

Toner: Clairol Professional Creme Toner in 323D (Extra Light Platinum)

Developer: Clairol Pure White 20 Volume Creme Developer

The steps are explained on the back of the Clairol bottle, and I also explained in the video, just in case. MAKE SURE YOUR HAIR IS WET. The color I used for the red/violet isn't exactly relevant. You can use whatever you'd like.
